I've been cleaning cars forever, so I thought a matte car would be easy. And it is! I just pressure wash it, foam it up, wash it with car shampoo, then use a leaf blower and a microfiber cloth to dry it. Easy peasy.

Yep, matte finishes are actually way easier to keep up with since they don’t show water spots or swirl marks as easily. Just make sure to steer clear of any waxes or polishes that might make it shiny.

The leaf blower idea is brilliant, especially when you’re in a rush. Does the matte finish need any extra protection for winter driving, or does the regular wash routine hold up fine?

Over time, the sun can make your matte paint look dull and dusty, and it'll be harder to keep clean because dirt sticks to it easily.

To protect it, I'd recommend getting a professional ceramic coating. This will keep your paint looking good and help it stay cleaner, all without making it shiny like a regular car. You definitely don't want to polish a matte car – it'll ruin the look.
