Surprising MG4 Behavior Fix

I tried something new with my MG4 XPOWER this morning, let the car "wake up" fully before driving. After unlocking, I waited about 30 seconds until my greeting appeared, then hit the brake to start the car.

Did a 48-mile trip through mixed roads with default settings (no tweaks to LKA or anything), and the car behaved perfectly, exactly how I expected it to from the start! A couple of valid warning bongs along the way, but nothing unusual or frustrating.

Even my wife noticed how smooth it was today. Tomorrow, I’ll do the same route to confirm it wasn’t a fluke. The hum/vibration issue still needs fixing, but overall, the car’s performance and value are winning me over. Anyone else tried this "wake-up" trick?

I haven't tried this, but yeah, it is an interesting experiment with the wake-up trick...It’s great the MG4 performed so smoothly. Did you notice any differences in how the car responded overall?

It takes a minute to start up. We always give it some time because we're usually messing around with the seats and stuff, plugging in our phones, and getting the music going before we even think about driving. That's probably why we haven't had any of those weird problems other people talk about

Alright, so modern cars are basically like computers on wheels, and just like any tech gadget, they gotta boot up and run their updates before theyre ready to roll. If you try to jump in too fast without giving them a minute, they might start glitching or acting all weird. It’s just how they’re built these days, patience, my friend. patience!

After my test drive, I pointed out to the dealer that the rear camera wasn’t working, there was a slight vibration between 65 and 75 mph, and the wheel seemed a bit off-center. It was more noticeable since I had just been in a regular car for an hour with a perfectly straight wheel.
