I'm still learning the ropes with cars so please bear with me. Do these "economical" driving modes, in which you don't press the gas pedal as hard, make the car feel different than normal driving? And are they actually more fuel-efficient than regular driving? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! Eco mode is all about conserving fuel, but it makes the gas pedal feel sluggish. IMO, Eco mode isn't necessary. Normal mode is totally fine for everyday driving, and you'll get the hang of it in no time.

eco mode is one way to be fuel efficient, if you're not in a rush and you have time to spare then eco mode is the way to go, it lessens emissions and it uses less gas but it reduces the engine's power output in return.

I've been playing around with the Eco mode on my MG4, and it's pretty lame, to be honest. It makes the car feel sluggish and unresponsive. I don't think it's really worth the effort to switch to it every time you start the car. I'd stick with Normal mode, which is the default. It's more fun to drive, and you'll get used to it quickly.

If you're really curious about the different modes, you can always download the MG4 manual and read about them. They basically just adjust things like traction control, steering, and regen braking. It's not a big deal.
