To be honest, this never-ending argument doesn't interest me at all. It's as easy as deciding if it qualifies as a hot hatch. It's all well and well if a hot hatch is just about speeding around corners, but how often does anyone actually do that? It all comes down to the straight-line acceleration for me.

It's a fast, practical hatchback that can outperform much more expensive vehicles in a drag race. However, because it is electric and all-wheel drive, it is not as enjoyable to drive around corners as some people would like.

It's strange how the same reviewers criticized the old RS3 and Golf R for being "boring" and "numb" on twisty roads.

These cars are ideal for everyday drivers who aren't interested in track days. They're practical daily drivers with plenty of power and excellent traction in any weather.

I agree...These cars are built for practicality and performance in daily driving, not just track days. It’s about enjoying the power and handling without worrying about the twisty roads as much.
